Toys. A kids treasure. Sometimes, a parents worst nightmare.
Toys are always changing too. From the last 2 generations, we have crossed over from marbles, mencala, monopoly (and other boardgames), etc. to everything is electronic now. Everything is all about the latest and greatest.
For me as a child, my favorite things were always things I could do outside: riding a bike, roller blading, hoola hoops, etc. even when I would draw and do arts and crafts, I was outside.
My favorite toy honestly had to be my art set. I was always drawing, painting, coloring, etc., creating art wherever I went. I would take a blanket and some stuffed animals outside with my art set and lay out there all day with my boom box and draw. I would draw things I saw from books, things I saw outside, images I thought of, everything.
To this day, I am still an artistic person. I know most people may not consider an art set a toy, but it was the main thing I loved.
