Find A Rainbow Day 04/03/19!!!

There are a lot of sayings about rainbows.

“The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.” – Dolly Parton.
This one is said in several different ways. It is used time and time again in life when people talk about the struggles of life and how there is a “light at the end of the tunnel” in a way. When you are going through a tough time, and you need something to push you through, sometimes using an inspirational quote can give you that sense of being motivated. Which just further goes to show you how much power there really is in words.

“Try to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud” – Maya Angelou.
Maya Angelou has many things that were both inspirational and beautiful, but I truly love this one. Why? Because this reiterates how having a sense of humanity is so beautiful. You can love someone in the darkest places and add a light for them. So often people feel low or alone, and having someone to just be there and let them know that they are not alone can really turn things around. It is free and takes nothing to have a sense of compassion and empathy. Be that beautiful thing in someone’s darkness.

“There is no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow” – Karen Black.
While some people may find this quote to be negative. I love it! Often people have unrealistic expectations. They spend so much time chasing that silly pot of gold that they completely dismiss the rainbow. The journey is the beautiful thing. Enjoy it. If you don’t, you may get to the end and realize that what you were chasing wasn’t as shiny as you thought.

The science of how a rainbow is formed, while some people may think takes away the magic, I think it is really a testament to how interesting and magical the world really is all on its own. The fact that the world creates something that us as people find so miraculous, yet it is created with no help from humanity. The world does not need people to be beautiful. It is better left alone sometimes. I am inputting a passage of how a rainbow is made from Google. Please feel free to give me your input and commentary on rainbows.

Never stop chasing them!

Simply,
Miss Shay

Passage from Google Search:
A rainbow is a meteorological phenomenon that is caused by reflection, refraction and dispersion of light in water droplets resulting in a spectrum of light appearing in the sky. It takes the form of a multicolored circular arc. Rainbows caused by sunlight always appear in the section of sky directly opposite the sun.
