This blog that I am starting, I am hoping to create into a community.

Let me start by saying that sometimes when we try to think of who we are as a person, or what our interests are, they vary.  As a writer, you aren’t sure what to write about, what audience to “speak to”. I was given varying advice mostly to stick to one topic and one group. I decided that in order to stay true to myself and who I am as a person, this needed to be more about EVERY topic rather than one.

Therefor, the topics will vary from culinary and recipes, to motherhood and DIYs, and all the way to dating, fashion, advice, etc. with each and every topic being from my perspective. Here is an introduction to Simply Miss Shay.

I am a single, working, mother, who is also starting to finally chase a 10 year culinary dream, who loves being crafty, and trying new places and things.

I want this platform to be a place to be a place where we can all come together on these topics and more.
